Fall is in the air !

It's been a while since I have blogged. It's been a busy last few weeks getting Alexis off to school. She had a rough start the first week, but I believe she has turned the corner and she is doing much better. The house is certainly quiet without both my children home. I miss seeing their faces, and their smiles every day. I miss all their friends coming and going. It certainly has been an adjustment for Steven and I. Thank God we have Bentley who keeps a smile on our faces. Just trying to find the new norm around here,it can be lonely sometimes. Keeping busy, I believe that's the key. I started my fall decorating outside. I did something different this year, I get bored with the same old decorations from year-to-year, it's time to mix it up. We close the pool tomorrow, that's always a sad day. I hate to see summer go, but I do look forward to fall, and the holidays. We will be busy with Troy the next couple of months, he starts his interview process for dental schools. His first interview is at BU the end of the month, followed by his interviews with Buffalo, UConn, UPenn, Tufts, Harvard still awaiting from StoneyBrook.  He will be doing a lot of bussing, training, and flying to his destinations, and of course Stephen will do some driving. We wish him well !
