On this night scripture says: the night will be as clear as the day: it will become my light, my joy. The power of this holy night dispels all evil, washes guilt away, restores lost innocence, brings mourners joy, it casts out hatred, brings us peace, and humbles earthly pride. Night truly blessed when heaven is wedded to earth and we are reconciled with god!
The Veil
There are moments when the veil seems almost to lift,
And we understand what the earth is meant to mean to us-
The trees in their docility, the hills in their patience,
The flowers and the vines in their wild, sweet vitality.
Then the word is within us, and the book is put away.
Do we really know the true meaning of Easter, sure dying eggs and Easter baskets and Easter bunny, are fun and a tradition. But it is the most spiritual holiday we can experience. I feel people today have gone away from the true meaning and just think well if we dye eggs and have Easter baskets we are celebrating this day. My god bless them, and help them to find Jesus in their lives. Believe me I'm not the holyest person, but I do have faith.
