Troy was a Appa leader this past spring break, he spent a week in Virginia. He loves working for Habitat for Humanity. Next year he was elected to be on the council. So very proud of him. He loves BC, it's hard to believe this school year has come to an end. He looks so happy, he loves rollerblading. One more year to go !

Springtime !
It's so pretty outside when the daffodils emerge and the mulch is all down and the pansies are planted. Everything looks so fresh and clean. It's such a beautiful time of the year especially after this hard winter.

Mulching
Stephens job is never done, finally spring is here and so is all the outside work. Although we complain we still enjoy it, especially after this winter. It's so nice to be able to get outside and enjoy the sun and the fresh air. Mulch always looks beautiful and makes the house look fresh.
The Greek orthodox Easter!
Sorry I haven't been blogging much lately I've been busy with work and other activities. I hope to start back soon. Greek Easter was spent with family and close friends at Athos restaurant here in Guilderland New York. No better way but to have Greek food On Greek Easter. We played the traditional red egg game and the winner was Jack Vagianelis. Great job Jack, are you sure you were not using the red rock! I enjoyed the pastitcio and Steven enjoyed his lamb. Unfortunately Alexis had to work that day so she was not able to join us till later for dessert. Which then we enjoyed the loukemathis. Troy was unable to come home from Boston because he was home the prior week for our Easter. He was greatly missed. It's always a crazy mess when this family gets together. Big Greek family ! Do you think anyone cares if there's other people eating in the restaurant. Always so loud, but you gotta love them !

Easter Morning
Each year it gets harder and harder to fill Easter baskets. I suggested this year be are last, well that went over real big ! They told me that can never happen. I have to keep reminding them it isn't Christmas. Since Alexis doesn't like a lot of candy, like me she not a fan of chocolate. I bought her some fit tea, makeup glove, body lotion, her Plattsburgh official shirt and I could go on and on. On the other had Troy is a chocoholic and can't get enough. So he got all his favorites, plus some gift cards to Eagle deli and El Palion, and of course his favorite Gold Rum.
Easter Dinner with The Bourdeau's
We spent our Easter dinner with my sisters in laws, Art and Dot, at there home in Clifton Park, NY. They remodeled and rebuilt a historic farmhouse from 1779. What a beautiful job ! We enjoyed a ham and turkey dinner with lots of side dishes, amazing crab, lobster and shrimp appetizers and the dessert was to die for, pies, cakes, candy, cookies. It's always fun when the cousins get together !
Cinnamon Buns
I found this delicious recipe for cinnamon buns, and boy were they scrumptious ! I made them for breakfast one morning, what a treat.
Troy has arrived home for Easter
It was Great seeing Troy. We have not seen him since Christmas. He came home late Wednesday night, and we stayed up to the wee hours of the morning chatting. It was wonderful catching up with him and hearing about all his adventures with Appa on his spring break. He is so excited about staying in Boston this summer, we will miss him so much, but it's his time now to fly ! Alexis and Troy become inseparable when he is home, it's beautiful to see them care so much for each other. Troy wanted to check out City Line restaurant here in Albany, so we had dinner there on Thursday night. We ran into so many people we knew, it was a lot of fun ! When we got home, the cousins came over for some of Stephens famous milkshakes. On Good Friday, the Vagianelis family came over for some pizza and salad and to catch up with Troy, unkowning when he will be home again. Keeping my fingers crossed he will be home for Alexis bday party and graduation. We spent the afternoon on Friday dying our Easter eggs, always a treat, this year Erika was able to join in on our festivies
