Wisdom Teeth

Alexis got her wisdom teeth out this past Friday. She had to have all 4 out, she was a real trooper. Still home recovering, with some minor swelling, she is doing good. Will have to be on soft foods most of the week until she goes back to see th doctor next Tuesday. So glad this is behind us, and we did it now before she leaves for college.

Troys BC Service Trip making his Impact on the World

Troy spent his Spring break in Mechanicsville, VA. He is a Appa Leader for BC this year, last year he was just a volunteer. He was in charge of the 12 in his group. They traveled there via a chartered bus then rented a 12 passenger van to their destination. Their accomendations were sleeping on the floor in sleeping bags  in a church, he said that they were lucky enough to have a shower this year in their bathroom. What a great group of kids, learning to give back to others, instead of only thinking of themselves. What a qreat quality to learn young, maybe they can make the world a better place, and no better way of starting right here in your own country.

Uncle Nicks 83rd Birthday at The Barnsider Restaurant

This past weekend we celebrated uncle nicks 83rd birthday. It's hard to believe that it's been three years since his 80th birthday party. It was a rememberable night, spending it with family. The food was amazing, I normally try not to eat red meat, I do say it was delicious. We have not been Barnsider restaurant in quite some time, so it was nice to revisit it again. I also was not aware that the Barnsider also has restaurants in Danvers Massachusetts and Weymuth, Massachusetts. Next time were in that area we might have to try it.
