And like every year we have a lot to be thankful for. Isn't it wonderful to be able to spend such quality time with your family, although isn't that what Thanksgiving and the holidays are all about. My family is very blessed, they love their cousins they love their Nanny,Aunts and Uncles. We have such a wonderful time when we are together. My sister was gracious enough to host a Thanksgiving dinner this year, so that we were able to spend Thanksgiving with Troy. I don't know if she'll ever do it again ha ha! Now that the holiday season is fast approaching, I pray that it is a blessed one.

Pre Thanksgiving
On Wednesday, it turned out to be a rainy/freezing rain mix in Boston. A real nasty day. Even with the lousy weather my niece Emma still played her powderpuff football game. We all went and enjoyed watching her play, thank god it was only 45 min and of course the seniors won. We went back to Amy's and enjoyed some hot cocoa, a warm toasty fire, and we all watched a movie The Giver. It was such a cozy afternoon, and I actually took a nap which I never do. The highlight of the night was Stephens milk shakes, and he taught the kids how he makes them, he says they are the best ever ! Or at least he thinks so.
Troys 21st Birthday !
We celebrated Troys birthday on his special day. We drove over to BC on Tuesday so we could be with him. He was not able to come home this year for Thanksgiving due to his RA position. My sister Amy was gracious enough to host the day. We did hit some traffic going over, probably everyone like us trying to beat the snow that was predicted for Wednesday. We were late getting Troy and Ben so we had to opt for a closer restaurant for dinner. It was good The Union House in Newton Square not far from school. It was a lot of fun, with lots of laughs.

Emma's Confirmation
My niece Emma made her confirmation this weekend at her church St. Mary's in Winchester, Ma. Troy was very honored and proud to be her sponsor for this blessed event. It takes a lot of studying and preparation for this, as we know since both Alexis and Troy made theirs. Congratulation to Emma!

Stephens 57th Birthday
My sister-in-law put on a beautiful dinner for Stephen for his 57th birthday. She made leg of lamb, Greek roasted potatoes, Greek chicken, tossed salad and lots of other goodies including spanakopita and grape vine leaves. His favorite foods. I made for dessert too beautiful Apple pies. We enjoyed a fabulous evening with family.

Halloween
Halloween was spent trick-or-treating with my niece and her fiancé and her two children. We went around the neighborhood over to my brother Garry's, and then back. It has been years since I went trick-or-treating it was so much fun and brought back so many memories. Stephen stayed home and handed out the candy. I took Bentley with me he loved all the kids and seeing the other dogs all dressed up. Bentley was a bat and wore purple bat wings. My mother made chili and cornbread for dinner. Which we all enjoyed before we went out trick-or-treating. It was such a fun night!
