Woods Hole, MA 2014 Vacation

It's hard to believe that this summer vacation to our favorite vacation spot has come and gone. It was a unusual one, since Troy was not able to join us because of his RA training. Jenna had to report to Marist college on Wednesday, my sisters girls had field hockey try outs on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and Jillian had to go to Boston Children's Hospital where she will be spending the next 6-8 weeks, and hopefully get a diagnosis.  They all were truly missed and it wasn't the same without you all. Next year we will need to go a different week.  We had a beautiful week weather wise, and of course it is just such a relaxing way to spend a week. We walked and biked  into Woods Hole a few morning to a pastry coffee shop that had amazing baked goods, Pie InThe Sky. A day in Providence town. A day shopping in Falmouth, and the most amazing days were sitting on our own private beach. Nights were sitting around the bonfire, playing games and listening and dancing to music. We are very fortunate to have a beautiful family and that we all get along so well. My mother enjoyed her week with her children, grand children and great grand children, my dad would be so happy to see us all together for he was the one that encourage our family vacations.

The DAT

This past weekend Troy took the DAT exam on Saturday. Having had such a horrible summer being sick he was a little worried about taking this exam. He lost some crucial studying time, but you know Troy he made it up in time at the end. This exam takes five hours at a study center.  The exam will determine what dental schools he would be able to apply to. Extremely important. But we knew he could do it and he did. He scored the highest score you could score. That puts him in a position now to go to any dental school of his choice in this country. Life cannot get any better than that, what a relief on his part to have this behind him. At least something good came out of this summer after being so sick. Now he can start back at school with less stress. You make us so proud !

Boston Collage

Sunday was move in day for Troy. Since Troy will be a RA this coming school year he needed to move in early for three weeks of intense and rigorous training. I was so happy to see him feeling better and ready for the challenge of the upcoming school year. BC is such a amazing college he just absolutely loves it there. His dorm room was so fresh and clean with new carpeting and new furniture. Here's to another great year love you and we are so proud of you! Ps... I forgot that he has his own room with no roommates this year and his own bathroom how great is that!

Sara's Baby Shower

Sarah's baby shower was this weekend. My sister-in-law Nancy held it at her home. She did an amazing job with the food and the decorations and of course we need to give credit to Alexis and Jill for creating this beautiful basket which was a stroller,  it was filled with lots of goodies from Krauses. It was a fun day spent with friends and family. Sarah got so many cute things for little Kaylynn. Oh boy is this baby going to be spoiled. It has been a while since we had a baby in the house. Sue, Judds aunt made a beautiful cake for the occasion. Not only was it beautiful but it was very tasty!
