Father's Day 2014

Stephen has a great Father's Day weekend, starting Friday night when a group of his high school buddies got together in Clifton Park to watch the hockey game at a sports bar. He did get home rather late so much of his morning was spent sleeping. The afternoon he managed to get the lawn mowed. We did take out for dinner since he was still tired. His age is catching up to him, lol. Sunday we spent a leisurely morning reading the paper, I made his favorite eggs and bacon, Fresh squeezed OJ, an English muffin with blueberry jam.  He cleaned the pool, then took a nap for an hour and half. We had Smoky Bones pulled pork and Chicken, with my famous potatoes and salad, baked beans and cole slaw, and for dessert fresh strawberry shortcake and a apple pie, Yummy !!  We enjoyed having dinner at my brothers with all the family. It turned out to be a beautiful day.  The only thing missing was my dad, but I know you were there in spirit! Oh, I almost forgot, check out the beautiful gift lex made for her dad, she loves him so much !

Jack and John Vagianelis bday party

This week we enjoyed celebrating Jacks 9th bday and Johns 43rd. We had a delicious cookout at their beautiful home in Bethlehem. We enjoyed cakes by Coccodotts, our favorite cakes of all time.

Sr. Ball 2014

Alexis attended her high schools Sr. Ball with her friend Zach who is a senior and will be graduating this month and moving on to Marist College in the fall. She looked Fabulous and Zach looked handsome. It was a beautiful day spent inside getting ready for the evening. The ball was at the hall of Springs in Saratoga NY. They drove up together and we met them up there for more pictures. After the ball they will be spending the weekend with friends up at Erika's lake house on Schroon lake. What a beautiful weekend for that.  Stephen, Troy and I took the opportunity to have dinner in Saratoga and meet up with Matt one of Troys room mates. He is from Saratoga, and it was great catching up him and hearing about his internship at The White House this coming school year.

Graduation

After our day at the pool, we were able to spend the evening with our good friends (like family) celebrating their daughters graduation from SUNY New Paltz. Our GodDaughter Mary Kate. It was a wonderful evening and Will and Becca were here from Nashville, TN, it was great seeing them since they were married in September.

Pool Fun

I think today was one of the most beautiful days that we were able to enjoy outside. Our pool was open and ready.  I love being by the water, and I especially love it when Stephen and the kids are with  me.  I was brought up with a pool and I actually don't know what I would do without one. I love the water and being outdoors all summer long, reading or listening to music or just chatting with my family, I'm so blessed!
