Early Birthday Fun

Memorial weekend is when Alexis and Charlie's birthday bash was held. It was the only time that we actually had a free weekend.  The kids celebrate their birthday together every year. It is such a fun time, unfortunately this year it was rainy and cool, so no pool time.  The rain was gone just in time to celebrate. They are so fortunate to be able to celebrate with family and friends. It is so necessary for our kids to spend so much time with there aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. I can proudly say we have one of the closet, loving families.  Alexis birthday is in June and we will be celebrating again at that time, stay tune for round 2.

Troy is Home Say No More!

Mothers Day

I was so happy spending Mother's Day just sitting by my pool. I enjoy the peacefulness of the water. It was a spectacular day.  Stephen made me breakfast, and then him and Garry went shopping to get the makings to make  all the moms dinner that evening. They went to the meat house for steak tips an chicken, and Gade Farm for fresh veggies, and to the new bakery. Dinner was delicious !

Jr Prom

After getting home from her beautification process, we invited Zach, his mom, Aunt Sonda, my mom, my girlfriend Katie, the Robinson's over to send her off. We took so many pictures before we even got to Julia's house for group pictures. She had so much fun with her friends. They left the prom early, which I know Troy did the same, to get to the after party where they can have fun. Not that the prom wasn't fun, but the food was good. So they got to the Malone's around 10:30, they lucked out with the weather. They had a Hugh bonfire, did s'mores, hot dogs, played duck duck goose and sang songs around the campfire all night , until she arrived back home Sunday morning around 9am.

Hair and Makeup

Alexis went to her BFF moms to get her hair done the day of the Jr Prom. We spent most of the morning and early afternoon at the salon. It was so nice to see and catch up with all of Alexis' girlfriends moms. All the girls looked amazing in whatever hairdo they chose. We enjoyed bagels and sandwiches from panera, fresh fruit, cookies, as we all brought a little something knowing it was going to be a long day. Alexis has been dreaming of this moment, and knew exactly how she wanted her hair and makeup. Rita did an amazing job! Alexis then went and had her make up professionally done by a area make up artist. She had all her make up sprayed on. She looked stunning! This stuff will last up to 3 days. She looked beautiful so let her prom begin.
