Boston College

As Troy continues to love his school, and his roomates are amazing guys. He is making such wonderful friendships with these guys that with last him his lifetime. It is such a great experience for him and we continue to be proud of him as well as Alexis. He will be leaving this coming weekend, he will be doing a Habitat for Humanity in Harrisburg, PA. for his spring break. Troy loves to do alot of volunteer work, to give back to his community. He is chairman this year for Relay for Live at BC. In all his free time, haha, which is none, he is applying for interships this summer either here in Albany or in Boston.

The Shake Shack

What's a night with the Bourdeau's and Troy without a milk shake. They do love exploring with each other to find the best milk shakes in the area. Well, I guess they found a great shake at "The Shake Shack" in Chestnut Hill, apparently Troy and his friends take numerous walks here to get a shake at night, after a long day studying. It was a rainy night but not rain, sleet or snow with stop this bunch when it comes to a milk shake.

The Cottage in Chestnut Hill, MA

We headed over to Boston to visit with Troy and my sister and her family for few days. We enjoyed taking my mother with us, since her trip to Florida got canceled till March. We enjoyed looking at schools for Alexis, we chose to tour one school a day this February break. Troy brought us to Chestnut Hill, where we ate at "The Cottage". A fabulous place with an expansive menu of very tasty food! Troy does have a nack of finding amazing places to eat, which we enjoy going to a different restaurant each visit.

Shop Rite at Home

I am loving the new service from Shop Rite, many years ago when the kids were young I use to order my groceries online thru Price chopper.  Now Shop Rite is offering this service, and I couldn't be happier, it saves so much time and effort. I am not a big fan of Price Chopper, and haven't been for some time. I hope they will continue this service for a long time.

College Bound !

This February break instead of going to Florida, we decided we needed to take the time and start our college search with Alexis. She continues to amaze us with her efforts in school and bringing home a 95 avg. As that grade won't mean that much, it will be her SAT and ACT scores that will bring in the schools. We have decided to get her tutored, to insure a great score. Alexis is very private, so I have been asked  to not reveal where we are looking, and let it be a surprise to everyone. So we will keep you on the edge of your seats for this one. We will be heading to Boston the end of the week, catch up with Troy before he flys out on his Habitat for Humanity service the 1st week of March. Hope every one has a great week, enjoying your time off !

Happy Valentine's Day !!!!

This year we will be enjoying a very snowy Valentines day.  We got 26in of snow over night, and my brothers flight to Florida got canceled. They ended up renting a van and driving down. Safe travels. My poor mother got left back, she was going to spend a couple of weeks with Michael and Jackie, but with her arthritis she couldn't with stand the long hours In the car. We will spend a quite Valentines day at home, enjoying each other's company. We are so blessed and many Valentines to b thankful for.

Super Bowl Sunday

We spent most of the day getting ready for the big game. I made turkey, roast beef and mixed subs, taco dip and cookies. We spent the evening with family and friends at my brothers. We par talked in chili, wings and plenty of corn bread and of course lots of spirits ! We celebrated Chaz 60 bday, which is this week.  Not much of a game, the only excitement I got was my numbers came in from my football square and I won $500 not to shabby for a $20sqaure, hey u gotta pay to win.
