Happy New Year !

Enjoying a quiet New Year. We had dinner with friends and family at the Standard restaurant here in Guilderland. We decided to pass on the movies after to come home and spend time with Troy before we have to take him back to Boston tomorrow. We thought it best to go before the snow storm predicted for Thursday. We will need to spend the night because he can't get into his dorm until Thursday lets hope we can make it back on Thursday, if not  we will have to stay till Friday, so keep your fingers crossed that the weather is not as bad as they say. Troy is suppose to leave for New Mexico at 9:00 am on Friday. We hope it happens and wish him safe travels. Troy has been suffering with a cold, I think he is so run down from finals. I hope he starts feeling better by Friday. He had a amazing semester, his GPAis a 3.74, we r very proud, he is taking such vigorous courses. Alexis is staying with her girlfriends for the night, loving the fact she can jump into the car and go. We are so proud of  her too. She had a amazing first half, with an 95 avg. she if definitely coming into her own, she is becoming a very independent women. Our children are making us very proud. We had a amazing 2013, let's hope 2014 can be just as great. Wishing you and your family's a Happy,Healthy New Year, God Bless!

" through the years may we always be together "

We had another fabulous Christmas. This year we decided to do a beef tenderloin instead of a prime rib, once again Stephen out did himself. Now we know what he can do in retirement. We had a amazing morning open gifts, that took us two hours to complete. I have to say we had more things to open than any other year. Alexis with her Michael Kors, Troy with his Ralph Lauren (Boston College is showing him how to dress). Me with my Louis Vuitton , I say Santa did well. But putting all material things aside, the day was spent with family and friends stopping by. That's what Christmas is all about. Troy started dinner in prayer, thanking Jesus, for this amazing meal, and how important family is in our lives. We have been very fortunate to have a close knit family that a lot of people can't say they have, and we prayed for them. Troy did an amazing job. We are blessed, I am blessed to have such spiritual and amazing children. Hope u all had a spiritual Christmas !

Merry Christmas !

Christmas morning was full of surprises. Lots of gifts this year!  As I always say " Through the years may we always be together",  but what most people think is gifts are mistaken for love, and not that the true meaning of Christmas is being with family  and celebrating Jesus birth.

My Boy is Coming Home Today!

I am so excited that Troy will be coming home today for the Christmas break. He will only be home for 2 weeks, so I can't wait to spend some quality time with him before he heads to New Mexico on Jan 3rd. He will be spending 10 days on the Pueblo Indian Reservation outside of Albuquerque. He is so excited to get to go there with Boston College and to see others ways of living, and I am excited for him. As we prepare for the big day, as my family will be gathered around the table, I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends to spend the holidays with. Wishing you a blessed Christmas and hope you feel the happiness and warmth from your family. Merry Christmas !

Alexis' new color

Alexis has been wanting to color her hair a violet/black. I was very hesitant because I thought it would come out to purple. Today we took the plunge. It came out stunning, the pictures don't do it justice. It has almost a halo or violet ,  just beautiful   !

We enjoyed a great night with family and close friends. While Troy was home we thought it was a great opportunity to have everyone over to spend some time with him. The weekend flew by an before we knew he was on his way back to BC.  We  look forward too seeing him in a few weeks. The holidays are approaching quickly, as we prepare for the special day.
